Primary Care Physician (FM/IM) - Southwest Medical

About the Role
In this position, you will work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday-Friday. The patient population is an adult panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents and can be customized for interest areas. Our seniors have the convenience of our new Lifestyle Centers. Work in attractive/modern buildings and enjoy an electronic medical record environment. Full-time management staff, digital radiology, and onsite laboratory services add conveniences at our 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health.
- Demonstrate professionalism through a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population.
- Practice systems-based care, demonstrating awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care, and effectively utilizing system resources to provide optimal care.
Requirements
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible.
- Ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA, and Pharmacy license.
- Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social-behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care.
- Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families, and other health professionals.
- Sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records.
- Practice-based learning and improvement involving investigation and evaluation of patient care, appraisal, and assimilation of scientific evidence, and improvements in patient care.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
