Primary Care Physician
About the role
Become a part of our caring community CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our clinic in Orlando, FL. As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the Associate Medical Director. You will be onsite at the Kissimmee, FL. clinic.
Responsibilities
- See 12-15 patients per day
- Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)
- Report to the Associate Medical Director
- Spend up to 50 percent more time with patients
- Provide proactive, preventive care to seniors
- Manage a Medicare Advantage panel of patients
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)
- Current, unrestricted DEA license
- Screened for TB
- Minimum of two+ years of experience
- One+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
Qualifications
- Associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency.
