Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Primary Care Physician – Ambulatory Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep the community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Responsibilities
- Medical evaluation of patients including history, physical examination, diagnostic testing, treatment plan, counseling, and referrals based on standards of care and evidence-based medicine, for effective longitudinal, continuous, and episodic care.
- Complete, reflective, and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Review and sign off on laboratory/study results, prescription refills, and all other InBasket messages with timely follow-up.
- Perform other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the Chief of Ambulatory Care.
- May include training and supervision of Internal Medicine trainees, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners in the scope of adult ambulatory services.
