About the role

Join Froedtert & MCW Health Community Physicians Network as a Full‑Time (0.75–1.0 FTE) Primary Care Float APRN‑Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will provide coverage across primary care clinics in south Milwaukee and nearby areas, working within a collegial, collaborative environment supported by the latest technology and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary‑care coverage across multiple clinic locations in south Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
• Float between clinics as needed to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Collaborate with a supportive primary‑care team and consult with specialists when required.

Requirements

All candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License (or a multi‑state nursing license in the NLC) for APRNs, or current state certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an equivalent certification upon hire.

APRN – Nurse Practitioner Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical primary‑care experience (preferred).
• Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Physician Assistant Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies.
• Current state certification as a PA.
• Current DEA registration.

Pay

Compensation is experience‑based with a minimum starting rate of $53.96 per hour.

Schedule

Position is 0.75–1.0 FTE with no weekend work required.
