About the role

In an outpatient setting at the Batavia Medical Office Building (500639 Batavia MOB - Ambul Nrsg), the LPN provides direct patient care as part of a team including Ambulatory Techs, RNs, Physicians, and APPs. This is a full-time, day-shift position (40 hours/week) located at 7995 Call Parkway, Batavia, NY 14020.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system
• Work as a team member and assist other staff with implementing patient care
• Assume responsibility for care of assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD
• Participate in the plan of care and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Contribute to patient/family education through data collection, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation, and excellent communication
• Administer medications and vaccines
• Perform minor laboratory testing
• Communicate with patients and providers using the EMR

Requirements

• At least 6 months of direct nursing care experience preferred but not required
• Self-starter, team-oriented, and enjoys collaborating with others

Pay

Hourly compensation range: $26.75 – $36.11. Individual rates are set within this range based on market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
