About the role
This role involves working in one of McKinsey's North American offices within the Growth, Marketing & Sales practice. The focus is on tackling strategic, organizational, and operational challenges for clients, particularly in merchandising and pricing strategies. The position requires collaboration with a cross-functional team of data scientists and analysts to deliver impactful analytic products.
Responsibilities
- Work in teams to address key strategic and operational challenges faced by clients.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Engage with client sponsors to drive user adoption and address questions regarding solutions.
- Master analytics and methodology related to sector domains such as pricing and promotions.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior resources while collaborating on design documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering; MBA is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, analytic pricing, merchandising, or technology delivery.
- Experience with analytical topics, data science, data visualization tools, and statistics, preferably in CPG or retail organizations.
- Ability to articulate solutions to stakeholders with varying degrees of business and technical knowledge.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with large data sources and proficiency in cloud-based advanced tools.
