Pricing & Quotation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Complete cost analysis of all product lines.
• Complete quoting process with part description, part cost, tools needed, cost of tools and lead-time.
• Ensure feasibility, costing, issue resolution, and contingency planning is accomplished prior to quotation.
• Achieve quote turn-around time in line with company metrics.
• Organize and submit pricing proposals to Customer Service, Sales or directly to customers.
• Follow up on quotations to determine win/loss reasons.
• Prepare reports to update Management on the status of quotes and new business.
• Act as a functional liaison between Business Development, Customer Service and Engineering.
• Participate in cross-functional team activities.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED.
• Skills and abilities required: Problem solving, interpersonal skills, oral communication, written communication, planning/organizing, quality control, adaptability, dependability, safety and security.

Supports the team as Pricing & Quotation Specialist within Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, headquartered in Plymouth, MI. Operates more than 20 facilities and employs about 4,700 people across the Americas.
