Key Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, implement and monitor pricing strategies and models based competitive market dynamics.
- Conduct margin and profitability analyses across different customer segments and product lines.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to evaluate pricing impacts and recommend adjustments.
- Analyze and update pricing based on real-time market and competitive actions.
- Conduct, research and perform competitive pricing analysis and communicate to all the management team.
- Ensure vital pricing controls and monitors to enable and drive optimum pricing performance to meet business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand competitive pricing and market trends.
- Analyze historical pricing data and market conditions to forecast future pricing trends.
- Utilize data analytics software to manage large datasets and generate actionable insights.
Event & Program Management
- Lead the planning and execution of the annual Pitco Foods Expo, including vendor selection, pricing, marketing, and logistics.
- Oversee special pricing campaigns tied to seasonal trends, holidays, and new product launches.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field. 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or pricing analysis in the U.S. market. Relevant certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or financial analysis preferred.
- Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and ERP/procurement systems. Strong financial acumen with experience in margin analysis, cost structures, and revenue forecasting. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and operate in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to see the big picture.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI or cloud computing pricing models (subscription, usage-based, tiered). Familiarity with platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. JavaScript or other scripting languages for automation of pricing tasks.
