Purpose Of Position
Primarily responsible for managing the broker system, including setup, maintenance, reporting, and payment processing for all brokers. Responsible for managing military pricing, including system base pricing and EDI price files to the military system. Manages legal contracts for brokers and customers within Retail and FDSV business channels. Also responsible for administering Buying Group and GPO payment programs, including member maintenance, payment processing, reconciliation, and research of payment discrepancies.Essential Job Functions
- Run Broker System and Reports & Payments: Period end reporting and payments are made to both Retail and Foodservice brokers.
- Resolving Broker Issues: Updating new and existing brokers, removing old brokers that are no longer active and making sure correct payments have been made to brokers.
- Managing Broker System: Updating new contracts and maintaining existing contracts.
- Maintaining Military pricing biweekly, working closely with sales and marketing to get the necessary pricing and approvals.
- Reconciles Brokerage payments, researches and analyzes pricing issues and/or discounts and allowances and provides Support for the team.
- Manage Buying Group payments monthly, including maintaining member eligibility, validating group participation, processing payments, and ensuring payments are made accurately and timely.
- Manage GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) payments on a monthly and quarterly basis, including maintaining member records, validating payment calculations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Research and resolve unpaid Buying Group and GPO balances, working with internal and external stakeholders to determine root causes and facilitate timely payment.
- Review and validate Buying Group and GPO payment requests, research discrepancies and confirm that all payments are supported, accurate, and in accordance with contractual agreements and company policies.

Requirements
- High School graduate, some college accounting classes, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three or more years of accounting experience with a demonstrated ability with data analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including the ability to analyze large datasets, create and maintain complex spreadsheets, perform reconciliations, utilize formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), Pivot Tables, and generate detailed reports.
- The position requires extensive daily use of Excel, which comprises approximately 80% of the job responsibilities.
- Self –motivated & directed: ability to work under pressure in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong PC skills – SAP, BW, Excel, Windows, Word, Outlook, CRM, and Winshuttle.
- Financial and P&L knowledge preferred
- Able to work independently and work with all levels of management.
- Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and be self-motivating and resourceful
- Strong interpersonal/teamwork, research/problem-solving, and quantitative analysis skills required
