Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as delegated by the Pricing Coordinator.
• Ensure all department standards are being met in the Pricing Department.
• Execute best practices as outlined in the Pricing team manual.
• Maintain and ensure accurate pricing of all store products.
• Execute price changes, ad and display changes, and promotional signage within store.
• Communicate and work cooperatively with Store Director, Pricing Director, and other department managers to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Provide exceptional guest services, assisting guests with finding items they are looking for on the sales floor.
• Advocate of community among peers.
• Contribute to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas, shelving, and sales floor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
• Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle situations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Lifting up to 10 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Frequently bending at waist level, kneeling and reaching above shoulder level.
• Continuous repetitive hand movement, grasping and fine manipulation.
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.

Pay

• Hourly associates are paid weekly.
• Part‑time store associates receive a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays.
• Full‑time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.

Schedule

The Pricing Clerk is a part‑time position. The work schedule may include daytime shifts and occasional evenings/weekends.
