Pricing Clerk

About the role

Provides assistance to the Pricing Coordinator by working closely with department managers and vendor partners to ensure all pricing policies are consistently delivered. Contributes to store sales and profitability by managing pricing department operations, including price changes, ad displays, tag hanging, and item price verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as delegated by the Pricing Coordinator.
• Ensure all department standards are being met in the Pricing Department.
• Execute best practices as outlined in the Pricing team manual.
• Maintain and ensure accurate pricing of all store products.
• Execute price changes, ad and display changes, and promotional signage within the store.
• Communicate and work cooperatively with Store Director, Pricing Director, and other department managers to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Provide exceptional guest service; assist guests with finding items.
• Advocate for community among peers.
• Contribute to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas, shelving, and sales floor as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
• Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle situations.

Schedule

• Part‑time position.
• Required availability: 7 am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 4 am on Wednesday.
• Work schedule may include daytime shifts and occasional evenings/weekends.
