About the role
Pricing Specialist: SaaS Finance Expertise – Remote in USA – 1‑year contract.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of subscription mechanics, standardized ARR definitions, external ARR reporting, and Last Price Paid (LPP) metrics for renewals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for managing ARR and LPP metrics, including renewal pricing, and the impacts of pull‑forwards and consolidations.
- Skilled in parsing complex software licensing agreements to verify specific renewal caps and terms.
- Exceptional detail orientation with a focus on tracking exact LPP across multiple legacy systems.
- High proficiency in SQL and Excel (including Power Query and complex financial modeling) to manipulate large datasets.
- Hands‑on experience extracting historical pricing using Salesforce CRM, CPQ tools, and Oracle ERP.
- Strong capability in accurately calculating mid‑cycle prorations, upgrades, contractions, and churn.
