Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic vision of the pricing team, ensuring alignment of all Team Members by setting priorities and goals, monitoring progress, and reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Manage the data collection process from local competitors, ecommerce retailers, industry benchmarks, and other data sources.
- Use data to gain insights into market trends and pricing strategy.
- Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to leadership team.
- Collaborate with Field Operations Team to create and implement a custom pricing strategy for each individual location.
- Perform post-pricing analytics to measure impact and elasticity and identify additional revenue-driving pricing opportunities.
- Develop monthly revenue forecasts for individual locations and track budget to actuals.
- Cook up with cross-functional team members (Procurement, Labor, etc.) to assist in monthly budgeting processes.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to track individual locations and company-wide trends, identify opportunities, clearly communicate recommendations, and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Lead ad-hoc revenue and pricing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required (finance, economics, statistics, business analytics).
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, statistical or financial analysis role for a company with multiple subsidiaries, locations, and/or entities.
- Experience managing a team of at least 2 is highly preferred.
- Veterinary or multi-site healthcare experience is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills (database, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation).
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to independently write, modify, and optimize queries to extract, join, and transform data across relational databases.
- Comfort building and running queries to pull and analyze large datasets in support of pricing and revenue analysis, without relying on other teams for data retrieval.
- Ability to transform large amounts of data into digestible, meaningful, and actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with key stakeholders.
- Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format.
- Financial analysis experience including sales & profitability analysis and forecasting.
