Pricing and Inventory Clerk

About the role

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

As a Pricing & Inventory Clerk, you'll play a key role in keeping our store accurate, organized, and customer-ready. From completing price changes and managing backroom inventory to setting planograms and preparing the weekly ad, your work ensures our customers can easily find what they need at the right price.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily pricing updates and promotional sign changes with accuracy.
• Assist with planogram resets to ensure merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
• Organize and maintain backroom inventory to support efficient product flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and help identify opportunities to improve accuracy and organization.
• Work collaboratively with teams across the store to execute merchandising initiatives.
• Support our weekly ad changeover by working one overnight shift each week to ensure the store is ready for customers when the doors open.
• Build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Help customers with any questions they may have. If you aren't able to answer their question, you will direct them to another team member who can.
• Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.

• Able to lift, bend, reach, and move merchandise throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.

Pay

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between $15.25 - $16.98 with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.
