Position Summary The position of Pricing Analyst works in a team-based environment and will ultimately report to the Senior Director. Day-to-day supervision and direction will be provided by the Pricing Leadership Team. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for and will get exposure to certain aspects of the company including; providing analyses and general support for the sales team, creation of client deliverables, and utilization of the company's CRM system. This analyst role will challenge the individual to critically think and analyze, use creative solutions, and solve problems. Position Responsibilities Market Expertise & Analysis Create and maintain an understanding of market fundamentals and current events that impact the energy industryReview and evaluate historical consumption and pricing dataSubmit pricing requests to suppliers and work with supplier partners to obtain and assess quotes for clientsSupport team members in closing businessProcess executed contracts and conduct billing audits Client Deliverables Create, review, and finalize pricing proposal deliverables for sales advisorsCompile energy budgets and savings analyses by utilizing pre-existing tools and templatesForecast client costs and/or consumption as a result of changes in market conditions or usage patternsInteract with existing clients as needed Requirements A Pricing Analyst possesses very good Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, has meticulous attention to detail, and is confident and comfortable working with numbers. The candidate must be a team player, have a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn on the job.
