About the Role

Responsibilities
- Works with attorneys to create rate and fee quotes, and budgets, when required by RFPs or for new client pitches.
- Assists with data gathering and analysis for regular client reviews and presentations.
- Assists in the collection and organization of department statistical data as needed.
- Collaborates with Financial Report Developers to improve department reports to increase efficiency.
- Works closely with billing department to ensure proper set-up of new rate agreements.
- Maintains and updates information related to current rate deals and client deadlines.
- Supports pricing team with budget development, benchmarking, and data analytics projects as needed.

- Strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills.
Education & Prior Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or similar quantitative focus.
- Entry-level position with no previous experience required.
Technology
- Technical / Scripting experience a plus: SQL, SSRS, Python, PowerBI, Prompt Engineering preferred.
- Exceptional computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).
- High degree of comfort using and learning new computer software.
- Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move from workstation or desk throughout the work area to work independently or with a team to meet with colleagues or supervisor and retrieve work assignments.
- This position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires manual dexterity to use a phone, enter data into a computer, handle objects, and use office equipment.
