Preventive Maintenance Technician - GEA 2nd Shift (Mon-Thur, 11AM-9PM)

About the Role

We are seeking a Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician to maintain machine cleanliness around the shop and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools, and buildings. This role ensures maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness while supporting the company’s policies, goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the schedule of preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, and buildings.
• Review manufacturers’ service manuals, facility usage schedules, and maintenance records to determine optimal preventive maintenance frequency.
• Study production and operation schedules to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
• Perform inspections of equipment, machinery, tools, and buildings.
• Maintain records of planned and completed maintenance.
• Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed to foster a safety-first culture.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance checks as required.
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure proper storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or technical trade certificate is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of production maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and write repair reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong prioritization skills with an emphasis on quality and urgency.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated support of a positive safety culture.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic Microsoft Office and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge is preferred.
