About the role
As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you keep our restaurants running safely and reliably by performing scheduled preventive maintenance (sometimes referred to as preventative maintenance), identifying potential issues, and supporting timely repairs across HVAC, commercial refrigeration, kitchen systems, and building components. You ensure work orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time to support smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities
- Support an average of 40-45 restaurants.
- Work an average of 42 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, beverage stations and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks, service calls, and cosmetic repairs to maintain brand standards and support daily operations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and inspections to identify potential issues early, escalating complex or major repairs to MSC Technicians as needed.
- Execute and manage assigned maintenance work orders accurately and on time using mobile technology and work order systems, in alignment with service level expectations.
- Respond to restaurant maintenance needs and service requests to help minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
- Perform maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems within defined scope.
- Maintain parts inventory, tools, and a clean, organized work environment, including company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with Restaurant and MSC Leadership and ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
