Preventative Maintenance Technician - Second Shift

Duties

• Performs inspections and Preventative maintenance on Building and Production Machinery and Equipment.
• This includes but is not limited to Compressors, Pumps, Motors, Gear Drives, Welders, Positioners, Power Rolls, Cranes, Hoists, Manual/CNC Lathes, Manual/CNC Drills/Machining Centers, Grinding Machines, Drill Sharpeners, Spray Painting Systems, Shot/Sandblasters, Oil Flush Systems, Oil Test Systems, Tube Cutters, Presses, Lighting Systems, Dust Collectors, Shears, Burning Machines, Saws, Tube Expanders, Conveyor Systems, Fork Trucks, and other Lifting.
• Do minor repairs which includes but is not limited to replacing light bulbs, cleaning and replacing filters, adding grease or oil, repairing/replacing electrical cords and air/gas lines.
• Performs operational checks of same (with the Exception of CNC Equipment, Welders, Burning Machines and Shot Blaster unless person has working knowledge of specific pieces of equipment).
• Make repairs on pneumatic type tools.
• Assist other Maintenance Department classifications as needed.
• Performs snow plowing/removal with company supplied equipment.
• Salts or de-ices parking lot and sidewalks on an as required basis.
• Can be utilized to perform Facilities Maintenance duties to cover vacation or other necessary absences.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent
• Some Experience Required In a Manufacturing Setting
• Requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs., regularly engage in climbing and working from heights.
• Must have necessary standard Tools, Wrenches, Sockets, Pliers, Hammers, Screwdrivers, etc.
