Preventative Maintenance Technician - Loadport

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections, respond to equipment error messages per customer direction.
• Follow SOP’s to perform preventive maintenance: clean sensors and interface surfaces, replace worn components, and calibrate alignment systems.
• Maintain air and nitrogen systems: check filtration units, purge nitrogen lines, and validate purge cycles for compliance.
• Monitor robotic transfers between process tools to ensure smooth operation.
• Document all maintenance activities and system checks in for compliance.
• Update inventory of shark cages, utility cages, etc.
• Perform area safety and cleanliness walks.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience on any semiconductor toolset.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in disassembly and assembly of semiconductor tools.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, including etching, deposition, and lithography systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Physical demands: may be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, able to be on feet for 8‑10 hours at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50‑75 pounds.

Pay

Pay Rate: $20‑$23 DOE

Schedule: Compressed Work Week (Shift 6 (BN) 7:30pm‑8am)
