Job Summary
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Handle basic repairs, including diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues.
- Oversee contractors for specialized repairs, adhering to company standards.
- Disassemble machinery to remove and replace defective parts.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs.
- Maintain a professional attitude and track all maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Follow up on repairs to ensure they are completed and operational.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Understand electricity and carpentry.
- Provide own tools (special tools will be provided).
- Read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Diagnose and perform basic repairs on various equipment.
- Listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Work in different roles and demonstrate strong project management skills.
- Work independently and in teams, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive team environment.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have proven experience in maintenance, particularly in equipment and machinery repair.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a related degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Occasional lifting of objects weighing less than 50 lbs.
- Pushing/Pulling: Occasional use of upper extremities to move objects.
- Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
- Stooping: Bending body downward and forward at the waist.
- Standing: Standing for moderate periods.
- Walking: Frequently walking for extended periods.
- Carrying: Carrying objects occasionally.
