Preventative Maintenance Technician
About the role
We are seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician covering the Metro Detroit area to join our EPIC team! Responsible for performing day to day routine maintenance on club equipment and the club facility in a safe and cost efficient manner, throughout the Metro Detroit area. Ensures that the work contributes to the financial best interests of the Planet Fitness, through preventative maintenance on all equipment. Also assists with building and facilities maintenance and/or repairs, as needed. All areas described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Responsibilities
- Performing preventative maintenance in accordance with a predetermined timeline based on manufacturer’s recommendations
- Communicate with club managers to maintain equipment and facility to mitigate complaints or failures
- Assist other maintenance personnel as needed
