Preventative Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on guest rooms, including HVAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and fixtures
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and brand standard compliance
- Complete minor repairs such as painting, drywall patching, caulking, and fixture replacements
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to heating/cooling systems, lighting, plumbing leaks, and in-room equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and report findings to management
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or a similar environment
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in various environments (indoors/outdoors, confined spaces, ladders)
