Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Conduct basic diagnostics to identify early signs of system wear, malfunction, or safety concerns.
- Document findings, recommendations, and service details using electronic paperwork to support the billing and reporting process.
- Communicate clearly with customers during maintenance visits and respond professionally to questions or system concerns.
- Demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude and serve as a representative of Climate Systems, LLC.
- Maintain a professional appearance by wearing proper Climate Systems, LLC uniforms and holding team members accountable to do the same.
- Work with Service Coordinators to schedule maintenance visits, support customer needs, and maintain team cohesiveness.
- Assist with ordering parts and coordinating follow-up service when equipment issues are identified during PM visits.
- Contribute to a safe work environment by following all safety policies, using proper PPE, and identifying any jobsite hazards.
- Support leadership by promoting team goals, safe work practices, and consistent service standards.
- Utilize vendor and OEM apps to access equipment information, part numbers, and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a working library of product documentation related to operation, maintenance, and service to support personal growth and assist team members.
- Support Sales and Service teams by noting system deficiencies, providing maintenance findings, and participating in job site surveys when needed.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years experience in HVAC maintenance or related field with commercial experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of HVAC system components, maintenance procedures, and operational basics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify early signs of system issues.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to lift, move, and carry HVAC tools and equipment as needed.
