Preventative Maintenance Tech - 1st shift

Job Description

• Completes assigned preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules, procedures, and quality standards.
• Inspects, lubricates, adjusts, cleans, and replaces components as defined in PM instructions.
• Verifies proper equipment operation following completion of maintenance activities.
• Ensures PM activities are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and manufacturing equipment maintenance practices.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify abnormal equipment conditions.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to collect and document maintenance findings accurately.
• Ability to prioritize assigned work and manage time effectively while working independently.
• Knowledge and application of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and plant safety procedures.
• Intermediate ability to identify and source replacement components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.

• Follows all plant safety rules, electrical safety procedures, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Ensures all work is performed in compliance with company standards, NEC guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Maintains clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Reports unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, and maintenance findings promptly.
