About the role
This role is part of the Development Advisory (DA) team, focusing on Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship compliance for projects seeking Inflation Reduction Act (“IRA”) credits. The position involves managing compliance efforts, facilitating stakeholder meetings, training, responding to questions, and providing direct assistance. It also includes advising clients on meeting specific requirements related to prevailing wage and apprenticeship throughout the construction process, building strong relationships, and supporting project staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance efforts for projects seeking IRA credits.
- Facilitate client and contractor meetings, train stakeholders to utilize our compliance program, respond to questions, and direct to appropriate team members.
- Provide direct assistance to project stakeholders.
- Advise internal and external clients on meeting specific requirements related to prevailing wage and apprenticeship throughout the construction process.
- Utilize interpersonal communication skills to build and manage strong relationships with Baker Tilly colleagues and clients.
- Aid team leaders by documenting and analyzing processes, internal controls, and workflow to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support project staff in day-to-day service delivery.

Requirements
- 4-year degree
- 5 years professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, supply chain, engineering, or construction management
- At least one (1) year as a project manager
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel)
- Experience with construction industry or labor compliance

Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees, including a US National pay rate range of $59,400-$236,800.
