Prev Maint Tech II (CMD-603) (2754)

Perform maintenance and inspection of construction and mining equipment, engines, or other assigned assets following each manufacturer’s recommended schedule. Dispose of waste oils, fluids, and filters in accordance with state and company regulations. Assist senior-level PM Technicians to gain knowledge and observe best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance on construction equipment.
• Complete service reports, time cards, and other paperwork in a legible, understandable manner.
• Ensure all assigned jobs are completed proficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean work site after every job.
• Participate in all service schools and training programs offered by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Preventative Maintenance or similar role.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of the role and its impact on overall business objectives.
• Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per company insurance carrier.
• Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, and twist several times a day.
• Ability to safely operate and test equipment.

Schedule

• Typical hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Weekend hours as necessary.
• May require work in inclement weather or hazardous environments.
• Temporary adjustments to hours may be required based on workload.
