About the role
Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a community-inspired, passion-driven, team-oriented, full-time Maintenance Technician II with a can-do attitude to join our growing Maintenance Team!
Responsibilities
- Execute and sustain daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines while warranting responsive, efficient, and courteous customer service
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Absolute safety in the work environment and reporting any safety concerns/issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
- Uphold and demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development
- Participate in on-going property preventative maintenance plan
- Aid in the team effort of maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Communicate adequate inventory of maintenance supplies and parts
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications
- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
