Description
Scope of Work:
- Perform maintenance, and inspection of the construction and mining equipment, engine or other assets as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with each manufacturer’s recommended schedule for maintenance.
- Dispose of waste oils, fluids and filters in accordance to State and Company regulations.
- Assists senior level Lube Technicians wherever required and observes closely to gain knowledge.
- Work in an OJT status as a PM Technician - Class I.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on construction type equipment.
- Complete and submit service reports, timecards, and other paperwork in a legible, understandable manner.
- Ensure all jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
- Clean up the work site after every job is finished.
- Take advantage of all service schools and training programs offered by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)
- Understand the responsibilities and how they relate to the overall business and its objectives.
- Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier.
- Pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and bend and twist several times a day.
- Able to effectively and safely operate and test equipment.
Working Conditions
- Typical hours of work: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary.
- May require work in inclement weather conditions and/or hazardous work environments.
- Some temporary adjustments to hours of operation may be required.
