About the role

Richman Property Services, Inc., is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Located in Midland Park, NJ, this position is responsible for performing daily repair and upkeep of the property, managing service requests, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
• Aid in property preventative maintenance plan
• Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
• Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper experience
• Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Valid Driver's License required
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
• Profound knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
