In this role, you'll support the City’s environmental compliance programs by inspecting facilities, reviewing compliance reports, verifying data, and identifying violations of local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect facilities to determine compliance with pretreatment standards.
- Review compliance reports and verify submitted information.
- Identify non-compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
- Collect water, sewage, sludge, and industrial waste samples.
- Perform field tests for pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), conductivity, and temperature.
- Act as field technician for water quality monitoring.
- Install and remove wastewater composite and discrete sampling equipment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of pretreatment regulations, sampling techniques, and field-testing procedures.
- Ability to interpret and apply environmental laws and compliance standards.
- Experience with water or wastewater sampling and analysis preferred.

Pay
Annual salary range: $63,723.00 – $80,193.00.
