PressOperator - 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Set up, operation and maintenance of the printing press
• Perform make ready operations efficiently to achieve efficient workflow
• Perform visual and instrumental inspections during press run to maintain color and quality
• Identify and remove any defective sheets
• Run press at acceptable speeds to achieve productivity and quality goals
• Alert supervisor of any problems with equipment, materials, or quality issues
• Mix inks when necessary
• Adequately adhere to all ISO / SQF / HACCP personnel GMP practices, conduct and safety policies
• Perform all required quality sign offs

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years 1st pressman experience; and manufacturing experience
• Good color vision
• Ability to direct press crew
• Working technical knowledge of all phases of a printing press
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
