Pay

Pay Range: $26.68 - $31.08 (includes a 10% Shift Differential)

About the Role

The Press Operator uses computers to set up and run cure programs for the Press and lay up panels using Prepreg fabric and honeycomb core according to Standard Work Instructions. This is an experienced/intermediate-level position for a semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles. The role requires skills acquired from training and work experience, limited autonomy, and moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lay up composite panels using Prepreg fabric, honeycomb core, potting, and review recipe configurations to ensure all cure specifications are met.
• Meet schedules and time allowances; monitor oven cures frequently to ensure no discrepancies in the software program; update supervisor.
• Decipher parts and quantity requiring additional probes, wires, fixtures, or thermocouple placement before the oven cure process.
• Remove probes, wires, fixtures, and clean all parts prior to distributing to the next process.

Requirements

• Advanced math skills.

• One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
