As a Press Set Up Operator, you will safely operate machines to produce parts conforming to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform blanking, piercing, forming, and drawing operations on a variety of parts.
• Change material on smaller machines.
• Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications using micrometers or other measuring instruments to verify workmanship standards.
• Perform in-process inspection, follow control plans, and record results.
• Communicate issues on the machine.
• Document all required production data and prepare product for the next step.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and production procedures/instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude; must be responsible in the proper use of equipment in a safe manner.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work well on a team.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day.

This position is at our Elk Grove Village, IL location.

Pay

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour. The base salary for this role will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal consistency.
