Your Opportunity Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator II to join our production team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety requirements, and production schedules are met. Work Authorization To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Your Responsibilities Set up and operate printing and production equipment according to job specifications and company quality standardsOperate assigned equipment, which may include palletizers, surface mount equipment, one- and two-color printers, packaging machines, folding equipment, programmable cutters, and multicolor photocopy equipment using ink or tonerPerform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to support reliable operation and optimal outputPrepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency when applicableVerify paper type, size, color, and quantity before productionCheck printing plates for correct format when applicableInspect printed materials and finished products throughout production to ensure quality standards are metAdjust equipment settings to maintain required tolerances and product specificationsCoordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust workflow as needed to meet changing deadlinesFollow all safety procedures and equipment operating requirements Your Shift 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM You Must Have Ability to adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerancesMathematical skills and attention to detailMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issuesAbility to read and understand job instructions Requirements Within This Position Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer High school diploma or GEDAbility to work with very close tolerancesAbility to communicate effectively with team membersAnalytical and problem-solving skillsGood color discernment About Taylor Corporation One of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
