We are a global leader specializing in the design, manufacture and distribution of functional hardware, office and healthcare ergonomics and storage-related components for original equipment manufacturers, specialty distributors, hardware chains and major home centers.

Responsibilities

• Operate precision slide/multi-slide or four-slide presses safely and consistently, including starting, stopping, feeding material, and monitoring production
• Assist with performing tooling changes, material changes, adjustments, and machine setups
• Recognize defects such as incorrect bends, dimensional variation, burrs, cracks, scratches, deformation, or other nonconforming conditions
• Monitor the cycle performance, scrap, production quantities, downtime, and quality throughout the run

Requirements

• Previous press operator experience
• Mechanical aptitude

Skills

• Ability to print and read blueprints
• Previous experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, and other inspection equipment to verify parts meet specifications
• Basic reading, writing, computer and math skills
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
• Ability to efficiently work in a high fast‑paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs while standing for long periods of time
