About the role

The position is responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining a variety of press equipment, ensuring quality specifications are met throughout production runs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform all make‑ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections, checking image positioning, prepping blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Make necessary color corrections and press adjustments prior to production runs to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, performing minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as required.
• Perform periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine appropriate press usage, settings, and materials.
• Skill in making precise control settings, adjustments, and routine operational maintenance.
• Experience with routine operational maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Understanding of the appropriate packing pressure needed for proper printing pressure.
• Proficiency in using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates correctly.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $26.34 – $36.63 per hour. This position is not eligible for a sign‑on bonus or shift premium.

B‑Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.
