About the role
We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join a growing metal fabrication team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret customer and internal drawings.
- Program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress press brakes.
- Inspect parts using measuring devices such as height stands, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints.
- Work efficiently on production tasks and collaborate with engineering on prototyping projects.
- Maintain accurate shop paperwork and follow daily 6S duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year experience operating press brakes.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and measuring tools.
- Ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and basic programming adjustments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and focus on safety and quality.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable with good attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience and familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software.
- Experience in metal fabrication or contract manufacturing, with the ability to cross-train on additional equipment such as lasers, punches, or welders.
