About the role

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join a growing metal fabrication team.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret customer and internal drawings.
  • Program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress press brakes.
  • Inspect parts using measuring devices such as height stands, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints.
  • Work efficiently on production tasks and collaborate with engineering on prototyping projects.
  • Maintain accurate shop paperwork and follow daily 6S duties.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year experience operating press brakes.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and measuring tools.
  • Ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and basic programming adjustments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and focus on safety and quality.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliable with good attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift experience and familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software.
  • Experience in metal fabrication or contract manufacturing, with the ability to cross-train on additional equipment such as lasers, punches, or welders.
