Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Press Brake Operator for the 2nd shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location.

Schedule

• Core hours: Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.
• Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $22.93 per hour
• Shift differential: $0.40 per hour

Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations
• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log
• Read work orders to determine specifications
• Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools
• Install and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools

Requirements

• No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation)
• Must be able to obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
