About the role

A growing custom manufacturing operation is seeking a skilled Press Brake / Fabrication Technician to join a highly collaborative production team.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment independently
  • Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
  • Produce components to tight dimensional and angular tolerances
  • Verify product quality using precision measuring tools
  • Make machine adjustments and offset corrections as needed
  • Support additional fabrication operations throughout the shop
  • Operate finishing and deburring equipment
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work area
  • Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and customer requirements

Qualifications

  • Press Brake & Fabrication Experience: Experience performing complete machine setups and operation of CNC press brakes
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
  • Ability to hold close tolerances and verify dimensional accuracy
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Experience making machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor process issues
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
  • Familiarity with quality management systems is a plus

Additional Manufacturing Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand, pneumatic, and power tools
  • Experience with assembly, fabrication, or related manufacturing activities
  • Experience with material handling equipment is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout a production shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds when required

Job Details

  • Shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 3:15pm - 1:45am
  • Pay Range: $20 - $35 per hour depending on experience/skills

What You'll Do
