About the role

The role involves designing and developing high-quality prototypes and production parts using advanced manufacturing technologies. It includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product success.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop prototypes and production parts using 3D printing, CNC machining, and other advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to understand product specifications and translate them into technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and perform inspections to maintain product integrity.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in prototyping and/or production.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
  • Experience with 3D printing, CNC machining, and other advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.

Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
  • Understanding of 3D printing and CNC machining processes.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.
