Press - Assistant - Days

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in machine setup and preparation.
• Supplies raw materials or components specific to the press machine as needed.
• Maintains monitoring of press machine operations, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the primary operator or supervisor.
• Assists with routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, part replacement, and adjustment of machine settings.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues and performs minor repairs or adjustments under supervision.
• Fills-in or runs the machine during shift changes or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment by removing debris or waste materials.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and policies, reports safety hazards, and wears appropriate PPE.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation, including production output, machine downtime, and maintenance or repair activities.
• Collaborates effectively with other departments or team members as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform machine setup and preparation tasks.
• Knowledge of raw material or component requirements for the press machine.
• Skills in monitoring press machine operations and reporting issues.
• Experience with routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, part replacement, and adjustment of machine settings.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills for minor technical issues.
• Ability to assist in filling-in or running the machine during shifts.
• Understanding of maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Compliance with safety guidelines and policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Proficiency in completing production logs or reports for documentation purposes.
• Effective communication and collaboration with other departments or team members.
