Press Assistant 1 - 3rd Shift

About the role
- Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
- Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
- Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
- Recycle old/discarded plates
- Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation
- Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates, and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates
Requirements
- Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on-the-job training
- Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation, and maintenance
- Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms
Schedule
Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay
The pay range for this role is $16.56 to $23.76 per hour, plus a $3 per hour shift premium and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. In addition to base pay, the total compensation package may include overtime, call-in, and stand-by pay.
