Support press operators across multiple production cells by performing quality checks, handling materials, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift
• Stage steel and load it onto payoff wheels
• Move barrels and dump scrap hoppers
• Print labels and use a variety of gauges to ensure quality
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Label, scan, and move product per specifications
• Enter data into Measurlink
• Follow all company rules, regulations, and work processes
• Adhere to 5S responsibilities
• Hold self-accountable for creating and maintaining a safe working environment
• Perform tasks with a focus on safety in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to team efforts and continuous improvement
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management for training or assistance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating a forklift
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Effective communication in a professional manner
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently
• Willingness to work overtime
