President/CEO

About the role

The Board of Directors is seeking a President/Chief Executive Officer to strengthen Secured Advantage FCU, build on its community-focused foundation, and position the credit union for long-term success.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of progressive senior leadership experience within a credit union or financial institution
• Credit union leadership experience required; experience in community-based institutions under $100 million in assets preferred
• Demonstrated success in improving financial performance, leading organizational growth, and executing strategic initiatives
• Experience working effectively with a Board of Directors and a strong understanding of governance best practices
• Strong operational, financial, and business development experience
• Demonstrated commitment to community engagement and relationship building, with the ability to serve as a visible ambassador for the credit union
• Experience serving underserved markets or working with a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Governance Partner – Works effectively with the Board of Directors through open communication, sound governance, and a clear understanding of board and management responsibilities

Benefits

Pay

$120,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
