About the Role

We are seeking a provider comfortable treating depression, ADHD, passive suicidal ideation, and psychosis (including auditory and visual hallucinations). As part of Lyra’s provider network—comprising in-person and virtual therapists, physicians, and coaches—you’ll leverage advanced matching technology, a supportive platform, and opportunities for training and clinical consultation. This role focuses on patient care while minimizing administrative burdens like self-promotion and scheduling.

As a contract Child and Adolescent Nurse Practitioner, you will provide clinical care with an emphasis on diagnostic expertise, family engagement, ethical practice, and continuous improvement. You’ll deliver evidence-based treatment via live 30-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-ups, conduct psychiatric evaluations, and manage medications. Lyra facilitates referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services alongside your care.

You will serve children, teens, and young adults from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and abilities, delivering culturally responsive care that acknowledges the impact of cultural context on each patient’s experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake appointments and 30-minute follow-ups.
  • Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
  • Develop patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients, and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications.
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based medication treatment following clinical best practices (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, minimizing risks, and maximizing benefits).

Requirements

  • Board certification in psychiatry.
  • Unrestricted state license.
  • Strong preference for clinicians with an active DEA license.
  • Must have an office space with the ability to see clients in the Holliday, MO area.
  • Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels; preference for providers offering in-person options.
  • Full-time resident of the United States.
