About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team at Radiant Academy. As a Preschool Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives, fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support the curriculum and promote learning through play.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, and develop foundational skills.
- Engage in daily interactions with children to foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure consistent and high-quality care for all children.
- Communicate regularly with parents to share updates on their child's progress and provide feedback on home activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's growth and development.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher working in a licensed childcare center or in a similar role is highly desirable, demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood education principles.
- A CDA or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow educators.
- Creativity and strong organizational skills to plan and execute engaging activities.
- First aid and CPR certifications are required, showcasing your commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. You must be willing to renew your certifications and keep them current, as needed.

- Strong work ethic and reliability to meet the demands of a 9-6 schedule with one hour breaks.
