About the role
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join The Goddard School!
Responsibilities
- Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
- Teach beginning reading and math skills
- Auxiliary children with developing social and emotional skills
- Utilize a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
- Follow all SC DSS, DHEC and Goddard Franchise Health and Safety Policies
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma, Associates or higher degree preferred
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem solving and mediation skills
