Job Overview
We are a fast-paced and high-demand non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement Pre-K curriculum
- Implement Head Start Program Performance Standards
- Collaborate with the Phillipsburg School District ECLC program
- Supervision of children
- Lesson Planning to enhance school readiness skills
- Implement screenings and assessments and data entry
- Facilitate family partnership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with P-3 teaching certification (required)
- The candidate must have one of the following- NJ P-3 Certificate of Eligibility
- NJ P-3 Certificate with Advanced Standing
- NJ P-3 Standard Certificate
- Experience working with young children (required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk populations (preferred)
- Head Start Experience (preferred)

Pay and Schedule
40 hours per week, $41.82 - $45.11 per hour depending on experience and education, partial year
