About the role
Supports the educational program for preschool children in a nurturing environment. Works closely with teachers and parents to ensure the best care and learning experiences for the children.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities
- Provide daily supervision and care for children
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and needs
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience working with young children
- Valid Massachusetts Early Education and Development License (EEDDL)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to early childhood education principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with basic first aid and CPR
Skills
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of child development stages
